1) Practicality:-
It is 1st principle of language assessment. It is impressive practical test.It does
not cost much.It has appropriate time-limit.Test-taker has limited time to
complete it.Administrators get clear direction by practical test.It also has
scoring and evaluation procedure that is definitive.
2) Reliablity:-
It
is an adduction in which an assessment tool put up steady and close bodied
result.Agreement is also uniformed in reliability test.If this test is taken
two times in different events. It gives the same result.
Four Componants of Reliability Test:-
1. Student-Related
Reliability
2. Rater
Reliability
3. Test
Administration Reliability
4. Test
Reliability
3) Validity:-
It is 3rd principle of language assessment.Valid test is a
boundary to which contention made from assessment result are appropriate. It
measures the certain aim and intention. It also offers useful and meaningful
information about test-taker’s ability.Inconsistent changes are not measured. It
is supported by theoretical rationale or argument.
4) Authenticity:-
It is 4th principle of language assessment.Authenticity means
trustworthiness. It has natural language. That means the language in authentic
test is as natural as possible. It has items which are related to the context
rather than isolated.Authentic test includes significant, current and
interesting topics. It is provided real-world tasks.
5) Washback:-
It is the last principle of language
assessment.Washback means “The effect of testing on Teaching and Learning”.It
is positively influenced to the teachers-What to teach and also student –How to
learn.Washback is constructive in nature than summative. It supllies conditions
